thanks so much. I will do 9 more and try to get a show together this time.

it's so hard to take photos of primarily white paintings.

Yes. Soul Patrol. I was so glad he won. Can't believe it. America might actually have a heart.

Nice. Is this a self-portrait?
I like the pink, of course.
You can get rid of the poor
lighting by using levels or
curves in photoshop. I'm
not in love with the centered
composition but the style
and color, or lack of, is great.
Some more open space on
one side or the other might
be nice. Keep it up, brah.

centered compositions are not my favorite either. it just sort of ended up that way. i'll figure out how to take photos of white paintings soon enough as this will be my working style for some time. OR at least for another nine paintings. I think you are right on about some more space on one side or another.

thanks bro...

I love Bacon. And Eggs. No Francis Bacon has always been a fav. A friend of mine saw it and said it reminded them of the Mathey Barney's http://www.cremaster.net/ figures.

Oh well. Thanks Vallario. I see what you are saying about centered compositions. It's just one of those art rules you learn. I don't really know why I've always tried to avoid anything centered.

Hmmm. Give me some Bacon.

Very cool. I think the texture of the breast and shoulder look remarkably real. Those areas remind me of the way the pool at the skate park looks -- smooth, curving slopes and hips, mellow transitions to carve over. Look forward to seeing some more :)

skate or die Lucky. No really. that is interesting how you think about the shape of the skate park when looking at other objects. You must really be enjoying it now. I guess an old dog is never too old to skate. Remember the days. Andrew's backyard.

It would be interesting to see photos of the shapes you are talking about at the skate park. Sort of like the old stores fronts and signs you did earlier, but totally different.
