Apathy Filters

Amazing. Every painting you post seems to me to be a drastic improvement over the last. The two detailed faces are very expressive and the others have a wonderful character and imagination to them. I love it.

Amazing. It brings to mind Picasso's "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" in that two of the faces have great detail while the others are virtually expressionless by comparison. Yet is clearly says something new and quite different from old Pablo's work. Really, this is the best one yet!

Thanks guys. I thought I was on to something. I'll keep going that direction.

This piece is about apathy filters I have in place for myself while viewing atrocities on television.

I see the Tsunami and Katrina victims but to me they are somehow not human. But then sometimes I see a couple of faces and they stand out and make me think about how they really are people, and how they really are experiencing pain.

I am so apathetic to the majority of the world's issues outside of my own personal drama. Maybe I can adjust that thought process? I hope so.

I appreciate your support. Thanks again.

Oh and Lucky any comparison to Picasso is definitely a compliment.

Much respect.

If you're so apathetic then why don't you finish Mr. Apathy, huh? Gosh! The physical nature of painting is so passé. Sitting behind a computer for hours, after you've been sitting behind one all day, is way better for your chi as well as your yingaling. Get with it guy, pfft!

Someone hit the blog with comments. Went all the way down the page, and if you noticed they were only doing it to put links in to a gambling site.

Then they went to my blog and did the same thing. I deleted what I could find. Just felt like our site got a little highjacked.
