Turns out, Sneed bent the metal rod in his arm shredding the pool this morning. Of course, being about as hard core as they come, he put on a wrist guard, wrapped some duct tape around it and kept skating. (Jungle Jeff looks on in horror.) Posted by Picasa

dude. when did you start hanging out with such hoolagins. Do they know you are a lawyer? It's like Point Break or something. Just kidding. Looks like you are having a blast. Write me sometime and send me your cell phone number. I'd like to catch up with you. I'm glad you are involved in this project. It's still growing. I have a new writer friend who is really amped about contributing. I hope he's serious as I think he would have alot to add.

If you know anyone else who might be interested in contributing, please tell me their info and I'll invite them.

Cool. I'm glad the project is progressing. One of the interesting things about skating is that no one asks who you are outside the park. All that matters is what you show of yourself then and there. The guys in this shot were both sponsored pros once (circa early 1980's); other guys on my flickr site were too (e.g., Jerry and Marc). They all skated together in the Memphis area thirty some years ago, and they still do today. I think they're pretty amazing.
