Team World Peace.

I dreamed of a day when we gathered round and watched the world's best scientist, matematicians, artist and philosophers come up with solutions to global warming, world peace, and world hunger. We went to the local athletic stadiums last night and it was sold out. All of the world was tuned in. Everyone had a favorite. All of the world's best minds competing to save the world. I was rooting for Team World Peace. World Hunger was up by ten, but World Peace was coming in a close second.

If the world's attention is involved in such actions much longer we will solve many of the world's problems. Plato, and Socrates were our heroes. We idolized the Nobel Prize Winners. Who are you rooting for?

We humans have rather small minds and even smaller spirit. We can tolerate very little in the way of challenge. Peace, compassion, good will, these are church words to be said and not done. To win is to bring another person or people down. We need new relativity. We simply must be humbled; by force or by decision. It will be unlikely that we decide to be humbled. The Earth is heating and we will soon know more. We are such a reactive people.
